“Hacking the packet in ASIC with eFPGA”

In this presentation, Senior Director of Sales Dean Cafora will present a view into designing an ASIC with an embedded FPGA (eFPGA) IP block. This approach combines the benefits of ASIC power and performance efficiencies and the flexibility of an FPGA. After giving a brief overview of eFPGA IP technology, Dean will discuss what logic should be baked into hardware and what should remain programmable by the trading firm. He’ll also discuss available IP and ASIC design resources.
