Job Description/Responsibilities
  • Responsible to identify and develop relationships with target companies’ decision makers including system architects, engineering and management to present value proposition and promote the differentiation and benefits of Achronix products
  • Follow up on Marketing-generated quality leads and nurture new opportunities through the buying decision process from interest to design win
  • Engage in system-level, technical discussions with architects and engineers to help customers envision how Achronix products will help them improve their products’ power, performance and overall capabilities
  • Coordinate and lead CxO level meetings between target customers and Achronix team
  • Responsible for account development to achieve new sales to existing customers over medium to longer-term to maximize customer lifetime value
  • Work with customer engineering, business units, and management to understand business challenges and identify the best Achronix solution for the customer
  • Manage channel partners including Manufacturers Reps, Distributors and solution partner companies
  • Work with Achronix sales and marketing teams to coordinate activities for multi-location customers.
  • Forecast monthly demand for Achronix products based on customers’ short-term and long-term requirements
  • Regular reports and communications to Achronix management and internal stakeholders on the status of new and in-process sales opportunities
Required Skills
  • Strong semiconductor background ideally to include ASIC, FPGA, EDA and silicon IP sales environment
  • History of developing, executing and closing multimillion dollar strategic business
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Technical appreciation of silicon engineering but not necessarily a recent technical background
  • Successes working inside a medium-sized, but fast-growing technology company or group
  • Experience in complex, high-value technology selling in the semiconductor industry
  • Relationships at CxO level in major North American prospects
  • Proven advanced skills in customer relationship and account management
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-divisional and multinational environment
  • Strong stakeholder manager, with the ability to influence and impact partners and prospective customers
  • A strong ‘upward’ manager comfortable operating at CEO, VP and Executive level, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A strong team worker able to optimize all internal resources to achieve the best outcome for the customer and Achronix
  • Strong and confident communicator with excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong commercial understanding with outstanding selling and negotiation skills
  • Confident self-starter that instinctively knows where to spend their time to maximize business
Education and Experience
  • BSEE, BEng or BSc degree
