Technology Highlight
Speedster22i FPGAs are built on Intel’s 22nm process technology with 3-D Tri-Gate transistors. Intel’s advanced process technology is the first to use FinFET transistor technology which dramatically reduces static power consumption and increases performance.
Additionally, Speedster22i FPGAs are the first application-targeted FPGAs targeted at communication and communication ecosystem applications. The combination of Intel’s process technology and Achronix’s application-targeted FPGA architecture results in 50% lower total power at 50% of the cost of mainstream FPGAs.
